Lighting:
Load the Firestorm Patio Heater with wood pellets and light it using 1 capful of white spirit or bioethanol and a long reach lighter. Within 15 minutes, the flame will fully reach the 1.5m high tube, providing over an hour of flames. You can extend the burn time by adding more pellets once the heater is lit. The Firestorm Heater is easy to light and self-extinguish when your evening ends. It comes with 5kg of wood pellets to get you started and a cleaning kit to maintain its pristine condition, which includes a poker, scraper, pellet scoop and long cleaning sponge.
Care Instructions:
- Make sure the Firestorm Heater is on a flat level surface during any maintenance or cleaning.
- Start by carefully removing the glass tube from the Firestorm body and placing it on a soft surface while you clean the Firestorm.
- Remove the grid from the Phoenix and clean all the ash using the scraper and poker tools in the accessory kit. The ash is 100% compostable so feel free to add it to your compost bin once cold.
- Wet the sponge of the cleaning sponge before carefully inserting into the glass tube. Push the rod along the entire length of the glass tube.
- Rinse the glass tube with water, making sure you rotate the tube to make sure the whole tube is clean. Repeat steps 4 & 5 if required.
- Carefully replace the glass tube by inserting through the top ring and back on to the Firestorm Heater body. Leave the Firestorm to completely air dry before use.
